PRMA is a nonprofit community of club operators, risk managers and advisors who know what it takes to run a padel facility, and who play because they love it. Together we help US clubs grow safely and profitably.
Padel is the fastest growing sport globally. Facilities are expanding, memberships are increasing, and operators are moving fast to meet demand. But with growth comes exposure. Many clubs are taking on significant risk without fully understanding it.
The Padel Risk Management Association was created to close that gap. We provide education, practical guidance, and an industry-focused certification designed specifically for padel facilities.
Our goal is not to overwhelm operators with technical language. Our goal is to help them understand the risks they may not yet see — and give them the tools to manage them more confidently.
Padel-specific learning built around the exposures club operators actually face, from waivers to court safety.
Practical, plain-language guidance that owners and managers can put to work in daily operations.
The Padel Risk Manager certification shows ownership, investors and partners that your club takes risk seriously.
To improve risk awareness and risk management practices across the padel industry through education, certification, and collaboration.
To make risk management a recognized and essential part of padel facility operations — so that clubs, operators, investors, and managers can grow the sport on a stronger foundation.
Unlike general business education, our focus is specific to the realities of padel facilities. We are building content around the exposures club operators actually face, including:
Our approach is practical, industry-focused, and designed for operators — not just specialists.
Risk allocation and insurance fundamentals
Vendor agreements and legal considerations
Safety culture and operational controls
Network of operators and advisors
We are developing an advisory network that includes prominent padel clubs and experienced professionals who understand facility operations, growth, and exposure from the inside. This collaborative approach helps ensure that our content remains practical, relevant, and grounded in the realities of running padel clubs. Interested in becoming an advisory member? Contact us.
Executive Director
Eugene Podokshik is a risk manager and insurance broker with experience helping organizations understand, finance, and transfer risk. Through that work, he saw firsthand how often businesses carry significant exposures without fully understanding them — especially in fast-growing and operationally complex environments.
Recognizing the rapid growth of padel and the need for stronger education in this area, Eugene founded the Padel Risk Management Association to help facilities become more informed, more prepared, and more resilient.
His goal is to make risk management more accessible to the people making day-to-day decisions inside padel clubs — from facility managers to finance leaders to owners and operators.

He is a pioneering figure in the global growth of padel, with a track record of scaling businesses rapidly across international markets. Previously, Markus co-founded Padel United, where he led one of the most significant expansions in the sport's history, growing the platform from a single club to more than 80 locations across seven countries in just five years.
We are building an advisory group of respected padel clubs and industry professionals who share our commitment to higher standards, stronger operations, and smarter risk management. Advisory members help inform educational priorities, identify emerging issues, and support the long-term development of the association.
The future of padel depends not only on growth, but on sound operations. We believe the industry will be strongest when facilities understand their risks, strengthen their practices, and treat risk management as part of professional leadership.
